The Sahara desert in northern Africa is the world's largest hot desert. The mighty Sahara spans 3,400,000 square kilometres and can be found in 8 different countries which include; Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Eritrea, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Sudan, Tunisia, Western Sahara and Djibouti.
